A moment of pause

By Grant Ballard-Tremeer, PhD • Author

It is Christmas Eve.

Whether you are celebrating today or simply winding down for the New Year, the emails are finally slowing down. With the holiday period upon us, it feels like a rare chance to pause before the noise of 2026 begins.

I want to use this quiet moment to say thank you.

To my supporters

To everyone who has backed the campaign so far, thank you. Writing a book is a solitary act, but bringing it into the world is a communal one. Seeing your names on the supporter list has been the greatest gift I could ask for.

A Holiday Request

If you have been following this series and believe that we need to break the "Zero-Sum" cycle, I have a small favour to ask at this holiday time.

Please consider supporting the project.

By backing the book today, you are not just buying a product. You are helping to build the platform for these ideas to reach the people who need them most.

  • Back the Campaign: Link here. The crowd funder campaign ends soon so please do it now!
  • Share the Message: If you know a leader, a colleague, or a friend who is feeling the weight of conflict, please forward this email to them.

The "Inside Job" (Live on Jan 6)

We often focus on the external joy of the holidays. But we know that the "Zero-Sum" pressures of the world (conflict, competition, and stress) will be waiting for us when we return.

That is why I am hosting a special Livestream on the first real working day of the new year.

If you want to start 2026 with clarity rather than just busyness, join me and author Yash Chitale (A Poet in the Workplace) as we discuss why the most important strategic move you can make is an internal one.

Event: The Inside Job: Why External Wins Start Internally Date: Tuesday, 6 January 2026 Time: 16:00 GMT / 11:00 EST / 08:00 PST

We will be discussing why you cannot master the external game until you have upgraded your own internal operating system, Yash's framework for finding rhythm amidst workplace chaos, and why the "Internal Pivot" is the foundation of external action from my book.
